Reton’s energy-efficient mixed flow In-Line fans are quieter, 2.5 times more powerful than standard axial fans, and more compact – ideal for ducted applications.
Reton has designed a complete range of energy-efficient mixed flow In-Line fans that are now quieter, offer 2.5 times the pressure of conventional axial fans and are dimensionally more compact making them ideal for many ducted applications.
The Inline fan can operate in both horizontal and vertical positions.
The fan is intended for permanent installation only. When the fan is used to extract air from a room containing a fuel-burning appliance (e.g. a wood-burning stove), ensure that the air exchange is sufficient for both the fan and the appliance. The fan should not be used in locations where it may be exposed to direct water splashes for extended periods.
Where ducted fans are used to handle moisture-laden air, a condensation trap should be installed. Horizontal ducting should be installed with a slight downward slope away from the fan.
In accordance with standard EN 60335, the following must be observed: Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision. The power supply to the fan must be disconnected before any maintenance work is performed.
This fan should be installed with a minimum duct length of 500 mm on both sides of the fan. In vertical extract ducts used in humid environments, such as bathrooms, a condensation trap should be fitted. Ensure that any flexible ducting is fully extended. All ducts should be angled towards the external grille. Ducts routed through unheated spaces must be insulated.
The fan is double insulated and does not require an earth connection.
